<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of appropriately detecting a moving object. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus comprises: an imaging section 110 that takes an image of an object and generates an image signal; a vibration detection section 211 that detects a vibration and outputs a detection signal corresponding to the vibration; a shake correction section 240 that has a shake correction optical system capable of shifting in a direction crossing the optical axis; a driving amount calculating section 217 that calculates a target driving amount for driving the vibration correction section to correct the shake of the image based on the detection signal; an image shake calculating section 215 that calculates a shake amount of the image based on the detection signal; a movement vector calculating section 122 that calculates a movement vector of the object based on the image signal; a residual image shake amount calculation section 140 that calculates a difference between the shake amount of the image and a displacement amount of the image corresponding to the target driving amount as a residual shake amount of the image; and a determination section 150 that determines whether the object is the moving object based on the movement vector and the residual shake amount of the image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
