<p>A waste receptacle has an elongate body having raised and lowered portions 6, 10 along the length of the side wall(s) 3 to provide an irregular interior face 2. Ideally there are also a plurality of projections and depressions of varying sizes in the outer surface as well. There may also be apertures in the side wall(s). A sheet or component usable in such a bin is also claimed. Ideally the texture and apertures of the wall allows progressive filling and compression of the bag. In the preferred embodiment the projections are in the form of round bubbles or dimples rather than elongate ribs or channels. A handle 5 is also shown.</p> |
