<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frequency input module capable of stopping calculation of a signal transmitted from a first module to a second module during a period to when the power feeding to the first module is stabilized in the case that the power feeding to the first module is started behind the power feeding to the second module, in such a frequency input module that the power feeding to the first module and the second module power is performed by separate power supplies. <P>SOLUTION: A frequency input module has: a first module supplied with power by a first power supply voltage from a power supply module to process an input pulse; and a second module supplied with power by a second power supply voltage from the power supply module to calculate a frequency of the input pulse based on a plurality of pulse interval information for an output pulse from the first module and pulse number information and to output it. At the time of activation of the frequency input module, the first power supply voltage is started up after a predetermined time period delay from the start-up of the second power supply voltage. The frequency input module also has reset means for outputting a reset signal for stopping a calculation function of the second module during a period to when the first power supply voltage reaches a predetermined stable value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
