An exhaust gas purification catalyst which enables combustion of PM (particulate matter) in an efficient manner at lower temperatures than those traditionally employed, manufacturing method thereof, and an exhaust gas purification filter are provided. An exhaust gas purification catalyst for use in cleaning particulate matter included in exhaust gas discharged from an internal combustion engine is provided, and the exhaust gas purification catalyst is characterized by including Ag supported on TiO 2 , and manufacturing method thereof. In addition, an exhaust gas purification filter that collects and cleans particulate matter included in the exhaust gas discharged from an internal combustion engine is provided, and the exhaust gas purification filter is characterized by including a filter main body to which the exhaust gas purification catalyst including Ag supported on TiO 2 was applied.
