<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which properly eliminates influence of an aberration caused depending on an imaging place by detecting information on the imaging place. <P>SOLUTION: A camera system (1) served as the imaging apparatus comprises: an imaging part (an imaging element (9)) which performs imaging using an imaging optical system (SL); an aberration correction part (an aberration correction converter (40)) which corrects an aberration of the imaging optical system (SL); an imaging place detection part (a camera body CPU (27)) which detects information on an imaging place to perform imaging by the imaging part; and a control part (the camera body CPU (27)) which corrects the aberration of the imaging optical system (SL) by the aberration correction part on the basis of the information on the imaging place detected by the imaging place detection part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
