Provided is a method for producing a novel sulfide-based solid electrolyte which is capable of compensating the S loss and is also capable of achieving a higher electrical conductivity in comparison to conventional solid electrolytes. Proposed is a method for producing a sulfide-based solid electrolyte, which is characterized by: mixing lithium sulfide (LiS2) with a sulfide powder that is composed of one or more sulfides selected from the group consisting of phosphorus sulfide (P2S3 or P2S5), silicon sulfide (SiS2), germanium sulfide (GeS2), boron sulfide (B2S3), gallium sulfide (Ga2S3), tin sulfide (SnS or SnS2), antimony sulfide (Sb2S3 or Sb2S5) and aluminum sulfide (Al2S3); and firing the resulting mixture in a hydrogen sulfide gas atmosphere. |
