1. A method for Media Access Plan (MAP) failure recovery, comprising:
a) receiving a first Media Access Plan (MAP) MAC Protocol Data Unit (MPDU) containing a payload and a first MAP interval value, wherein the first MAP interval value indicates an MPDU transmission interval that remains constant between MAP MPDU transmissions until notice of a change is received; b) decoding the first MAP MPDU and the first MAP interval value; and c) predicting an arrival time of at least a second MAP MPDU and upon missing the second MAP MPDU, predicting an arrival time of a third MAP MPDU based on the decoding of the first MAP interval value.
