<p>The invention relates to a method for shredding a waste flow with solid constituents, the method comprising of:
- carrying the waste flow to a shredding device, the shredding device comprising a receiving space inside a housing, wherein a shredding unit with at least one shredding element is arranged in the housing;
- immersing the shredding element into the waste flow carried into the receiving space;
- shredding the solid constituents of the waste flow with the shredding element in the immersed state;
- discharging the waste flow from the housing. The invention also relates to a shredding device in which a shredding element is immersed during operation.</p> |
