<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust pipe structure capable of restraining exhaust gas abutting to a catalyst and flowing back toward an exhaust gas sensor side along an inner peripheral surface of a tapered part from reaching an exhaust gas sensor as much as possible.SOLUTION: The exhaust pipe structure includes: an exhaust manifold having a plurality of branch pipes correspondingly connected to each of a plurality of outlet ports of an internal combustion engine, and an outlet pipe provided on the downstream side of the branch pipes and gathering exhaust gas flowing from the branch pipes into one; the exhaust gas sensor for detecting the presence or absence of abnormality of the exhaust gas flowing through the outlet pipe; the tapered part provided on the downstream side of the outlet pipe and having an opening area of a cross section enlarged as going to the downstream side; the catalyst for purifying the exhaust gas supplied through the tapered part; a storage part provided on the downstream side of the tapered part and storing the catalyst; and an annular protrusion part protruded from an inner peripheral surface of the tapered part toward the catalyst.</p> |
