PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system that does not require complicated processing and has good operability.SOLUTION: An information providing system 1 comprises: an information terminal 10 comprising a display unit 12, a terminal antenna 11, and a control unit 13; a booklet 50 comprising a plurality of pieces of paper 51, each piece of paper comprising, on one surface, an IC tag 60 comprising an IC chip 61 and a tag antenna 62; and a relay device 20 comprising a first antenna 41 for coupling with the terminal antenna 11 by an electromagnetic induction system, a second antenna 42 for coupling with the tag antenna 62 by the electromagnetic induction system, and an antenna connection unit 43 for connecting the first antenna 41 and the second antenna 42. The information terminal 10 communicates with the IC tags 60 via the relay device 20. The control unit 13 reads connection information to connect with browsing information stored in the IC chips 61, reads the browsing information by connecting a server 90 storing the browsing information on the basis of the connection information, and provides the browsing information for a user by the display unit 12. |
