PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe which can be manufactured at a low cost.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic probe 1 includes: a piezoelectric substance 10 consisting of piezoelectric ceramic particles polarized in a first direction; and a voltage application part 20 which can apply voltage individually toward the first direction to plural sites on the surface of the piezoelectric substance in a second direction intersecting with the first direction. The piezoelectric ceramic particles consist of a plurality of particles having different particle diameters and dispersed via gaps. It is preferable that the piezoelectric ceramic particles consist of coarse particles having relatively large crystal grain size and fine particles having relatively small crystal grain size. |
