<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase holding power with a mating connector.SOLUTION: In an L-shaped coaxial connector which is provided with a connection terminal connected to an internal conductor of a coaxial cable, an insulator housing the connection terminal, and a metal shell supporting the insulator inside and where an engaging direction in which the coaxial connector is engaged with a mating circular connector and a direction in which the coaxial cable extends make a right angle, the metal shell is provided with: an upper lid part covering the insulator in a flat plane orthogonal to the engaging direction; an extension part which is extended from the upper lid part and is folded almost orthogonally in the engaging direction; and an engagement part which is extended from an end part in any one direction of the extension part and is bent and formed in the way that it encircles the insulator. The engagement part is engaged with an outer sheath of the mating circular connector.</p> |
