<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine that a vehicle is moving backward, on the basis of information detected by a portable device which is not mounted on an in-vehicle device, and present a rear-view image of the vehicle to a driver.SOLUTION: A rear-image presentation device includes a control device 10 which executes: an image acquisition function for acquiring a vehicle-rear image captured by an in-vehicle camera 1; an advancing direction setting function which accumulates acceleration of a vehicle detected by an acceleration sensor 30 after the vehicle starts traveling, with time, to obtain vehicle speed, and sets a vehicle acceleration direction at a timing when the vehicle speed reaches a predetermined speed, as a vehicle advancing direction; and a presentation function which determines that the vehicle is moving backward when the detected vehicle acceleration direction is opposite the set advancing direction, and presents the vehicle-rear image, or determines that the vehicle is advancing when the detected vehicle acceleration direction is the same as the set advancing direction, and presents guidance information on vehicle traveling.</p> |
