The mobile device 3 is capable of acquiring image data read by a compound machine 5 from the compound machine 5 and displaying at an initial display size according to the resolution when reading to a display unit. The mobile device 3 determines a best resolution according to a difference between the initial display size and display size after a change when an operation is carried out to change (magnify or reduce) the display size of the image while the image read by the compound machine 5 is displayed to the display unit.
