<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alarm that stops detecting gas leak of a detection object by a detection unit when there is a possibility of abnormality in the detection unit.SOLUTION: An alarm comprises a detection unit 10 for detecting an external environment and an alarm unit 20 comprising notification means for giving notice of an alarm on the basis of the detected change of the external environment, both units formed separately but connected with a wireline 30. The detection unit 10 comprises a detection unit control unit 100 as a first control unit for controlling the detection unit 10, and the detection unit control unit 100 starts/stops control of the detection unit 10 in response to supply/stop of prescribed control voltage from the alarm unit 20 via the wireline 30. The alarm unit 20 comprises an alarm unit control unit 200 as a second control unit for controlling supply/stop of control voltage to the detection unit control unit 100 via the wireline 30, and the alarm unit control unit 200 stops supply of control voltage to the detection unit control unit 100 when detecting occurrence of abnormality in the detection unit 10.</p> |
