<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply circuit with high power conversion efficiency, and an illumination device.SOLUTION: According to the present embodiment, a power supply circuit having a direct voltage source, a bridge circuit, a transformer, and a rectification smoothing circuit, is provided. The bridge circuit has at least one switching element, and converts direct voltage supplied from the direct voltage source, into alternating voltage by on-off of the switching element. The transformer has a primary winding connected to the bridge circuit, and a secondary winding magnetically coupled to the primary winding. The rectification smoothing circuit converts the alternating voltage output from the secondary winding, into the direct output voltage and supplies it to a direct load. The bridge circuit has a capacitor connected between the primary winding and a terminal at low potential side of the direct voltage source.</p> |
