PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain echo suppression performance by preventing wrong learning of an echo pass property in the case where a frequency component of a far-end output signal is small.SOLUTION: An echo suppression device comprises: frequency bin component presence/absence determination means for comparing an amplitude spectrum of a far-end output signal with a threshold value for each frequency bin to determine the presence/absence of a frequency component for each frequency bin; and frequency bin echo pass property estimation means for estimating an echo pass property of a frequency bin for which the presence of the frequency component is determined in accordance with a determination result of the frequency bin component presence/absence determination means, on the basis of an amplitude spectrum of a far-end output signal of the frequency bin and an amplitude spectrum of a corresponding frequency bin of a near-end input signal. The echo suppression device calculates an estimate echo signal on the basis of the echo pass property for each frequency bin and the amplitude spectrum of the far-end input signal and suppresses the estimate echo signal from the amplitude spectrum of the near-end input signal. |
