<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing the movement of developer from a development roller to a photoreceptor drum when abnormality occurs in a charging wire for charging the photoreceptor drum.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a control device 100 configured to execute image formation control for forming an image on a sheet. The control device 100 is configured to execute charging bias stop control to control a bias application device 200 to stop to apply a charging bias to a charging wire 52A when the abnormality of the charging wire 52A is detected during the image formation control, development roller separation control to control a contact/separation mechanism 300 to separate a photoreceptor drum 51 from a development roller 54 during the charging bias stop control and sheet ejection control to control a conveyance mechanism for conveying a sheet to eject the sheet during the image formation from the device main body during the development roller separation control.</p> |
