<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device reducing initial load when rotating a brake cam by releasing brake force.SOLUTION: An output side rotary member 30 includes an abutting section 36B capable of abutting a cam surface 23. In a brake device 3, the cam surface 23 presses the abutting section 36B so as to rotate the output side rotating member 30 when rotational torque is given to a brake cam 20 by a rotating operation of an input side rotating member (output ring 40) while the brake cam 20 is configured not to rotate by pressing a brake surface 21 to an inner peripheral surface of an outer ring by pressing the cam surface 23 by the abutting section 36B in at least one rotating direction even if rotational torque is given to the output side rotary member 30. The brake device 3 further includes a release piece (roller 75) abutting on the output side rotary member 30 from the radial direction outside. The output ring 40 is configured to press the roller 75 on the output side rotary member 30 by acting on the roller 75 when being rotated in the other rotating direction.</p> |
