<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system for a pump for a fire engine, capable of performing fire extinction with maximum capability of a water discharge hose, capable of avoiding a burst that may occur when having used the water discharge hose having a different withstand pressure, and capable of performing safe fire fighting.SOLUTION: A control system for a pump for a fire engine includes: water discharge hose distinction means 11 distinguishing the kind of a water discharge hose connected to a discharge port provided in a vehicle; discharge pressure detection means 12 detecting a discharge pressure of the pump leading water to the discharge port; and water discharge hose withstand pressure storage means 21 storing a pressure-withstanding value set by kinds of the water discharge hose. When the discharge pressure detected by the discharge pressure detection means 12 exceeds the pressure-withstanding value of the water discharge hose distinguished in the water discharge hose distinction means 11, the control system performs warning display on display means 40.</p> |
