<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission which can properly perform the engagement of dogs while suppressing the generation of wear and noise.SOLUTION: In a power transmission device 50, when a position (phase difference) around a rotating shaft of a drive-side sleeve with respect to a dog gear is within a regulation range in a process in which the dog gear and the drive-side sleeve relatively move in a proximate direction from a separation state that the engagement of a first dog 53a and a second dog 51a is released, and the dog gear 53 and the drive-side sleeve 51 (coast-side sleeve 52) relatively rotate, an abutment face 60f and an arm 56d of a cam 56 contact with each other and regulated in the relative movement in the proximate direction, and when the dog gear and the drive-side sleeve relatively rotate in a state that the abutment face and the arm contact with each other, and the difference is out of the regulation range, the contact of the abutment face and the arm is released, the dog gear and the drive-side sleeve further relatively move in the proximate direction, and the first dog and the second dog are engaged with each other.</p> |
