PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a cost while maintaining the function of an existing system in an audio device. SOLUTION: The audio device has an output terminal 31 combined for the output of a first sound signal and the output of a second sound signal having a normal level higher than the output of the first sound signal. In the audio device, a use setting means 30 setting whether or not the output terminal is used for either use for the output of the first sound signal or the output of the second sound signal in response to an indication is fitted. In the audio device, the initial-level setting means 30 setting an output level from an initial output terminal after the change of the setting of the use for the output terminal at a specified low level when the setting of the use for the output terminal is changed from the use for the output of the first sound signal to the use for the output of the second sound signal is fitted.
