PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bone density measurement device using a front arm as a measuring object in which the result of measurement is prevented from being affected by the inclination of the front arm at the time when the front arm is placed on a placing table.SOLUTION: A radius 50 and an ulna 52 and an interosseous soft tissue 78 between these two bones are identified in acquired image data. A center point Ygk of a length in a Y-axis direction of the interosseous soft tissue 78 at a coordinate Xk is found. The center points in two or more coordinates are found, and an approximation straight line of these center points is found, which is assumed as a reference line 80. Also, a leg of a perpendicular line lowered from a styloid process of ulna 54 to the reference line 80 is assumed as a reference position 82. An interested area is set in the position of a predetermined distance from the reference position 82 along the reference line 80. The interested area is set based on the reference line 80 secured to a fore-arm 48, and thereby a portion of the bone of the same place may be assumed as a measuring object, even if the inclination of the fore-arm 48 changes. |
