PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pretreatment method for heating and completely removing oil from the recycle materials such as a cutting waste or copper scrap to which the oil is adhered.SOLUTION: A pretreatment method for oil removing comprises: a step (S2) of thermodecomposing the oil adhered to a recycle material 2a in a first treatment furnace 11; a step (S3) of heat-treating in a second treatment furnace 21a, the recycle material 2b treated in the first treatment furnace 11; and a step (S5) of completely burning the thermodecomposition gas generated at the first treatment furnace 11 and the flue gas generated at the second treatment furnace 21a by measuring the CO concentration of an exhaust gas generated at a third treatment furnace 21b by a CO continuously measuring instrument 28 installed in a gas duct 33 to control the operation of burning means 24 of the third treatment furnace 21b on the basis of the measurement result of the CO concentration so that the unburned material is not included in the exhaust gas.
