PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device which achieves light extraction in a more efficient manner.SOLUTION: A light emitting device includes: a substrate 11 having a metal 12 on a surface; a light emitting element 15 mounted on the surface of the substrate 11; a wire 16 electrically connecting the light emitting element 15 with the metal 12; and a light reflection member 13 which coats the metal 12. The wire 16 includes: a first bonding ball part 16a disposed on a surface of the metal 12; and an extension part 16b which extends to the upper side of the first bonding ball part 16a. The light reflection member 13 includes a protruding part above the first bonding ball part 16a. |
