PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic characteristic regulation method for magnet apparatuses capable of regulating the magnetic characteristics of a magnet body with high precision more easily. SOLUTION: When the magnetic characteristics of the magnet apparatus provided with the magnet body in a hollow shape is regulated, regulation of a magnetic field to be produced from the hollow portion of the magnet body is performed, based on shape setting concerning the hollow part (hollow portion 14) of the magnet body (bias magnet 13), or detailedly speaking, setting for the position of its stepped part ST. Moreover, when the position setting for the stepped part ST is performed, this setting is performed as shape setting for a nest MD to be a die corresponding to the hollow portion 14 of the magnet body (bias magnet 13).
