SCREEN PRINTER, COMPONENT MOUNTING LINE AND SCREEN PRINTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen printer, a component mounting line and a screen printing method enabling the imaging of a substrate and the cleaning of a mask to be performed in parallel thereby enabling deterioration in tact to be prevented.SOLUTION: The screen printer includes: an elevation mechanism (second elevation motor 42) which elevates a substrate holding part 21 while holding a substrate 2 on a mask lower side position of the lower side of a mask 13 and brings the substrate 2 into contact with the mask 13 based on imaging result of the substrate 2 by means of a camera unit 18; and a horizontal movement mechanism (XY&thetas; table mechanism 41) which moves the substrate holding part 21 between the mask lower side position and a retreat position where the substrate holding part 21 is retreated from the mask lower side position in the horizontal direction. The imaging of the substrate 2 by means of the camera unit 18 and the cleaning of the mask 13 by means of a mask cleaner 19 are performed in such a state that the substrate holding part 21 is located on the retreat position by the horizontal movement mechanism.
