PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication device, an authentication system, and an authentication method which are capable of accurately authenticating a subject.SOLUTION: The authentication device includes: a first storage unit in which feature quantities of authentication objects are preliminarily stored; a second storage unit in which feature quantities of the authentication objects can be stored; a feature quantity extraction unit which extracts a feature quantity of a subject from an image including the subject; a recognition unit which compares the feature quantity of the subject with the feature quantities of the authentication object stored in the first storage unit and the second storage unit to recognize which of the authentication objects the subject is; and an update unit which uses the feature quantity of the subject to update stored contents of the second storage unit in accordance with the recognition result. |
