<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape retaining hose in which a location and storing condition thereof in a fire hydrant are easily recognizable even in darkness such as on fire accident, and when drawn out of the fire hydrant for use, a longitudinal portion of the hose emits light or reflects projected light along an entire length of the hose so that a user can easily recognize location and line of the hose and a returning route of a fire fighter to the fire hydrant.SOLUTION: A shape retaining hose for fire hydrant having light-reflective and luminous property and an inner diameter of 18 to 41 mm includes a lining layer of synthetic resin provided on an inner surface of a jacket cylindrically formed by weaving synthetic warp and weft fiber. At least a part of the warp fiber is a parallel or twisted fiber having light-reflective material or luminous material on a surface thereof so that a light-reflective or luminous longitudinal portion is formed along a direction of an entire length of the hose on a surface of the jacket.</p> |
