<p>One aspect of the present invention provides a redox flow battery which optimizes a ratio of an electrolyte tank and increases efficiency. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the redox flow battery comprise a stack which generates current, and the electrolyte tank which supplies an electrolyte to the stack and stores the electrolyte spilled from the stack. The electrolyte tank comprises: an anode electrolyte tank accommodating an anode electrolyte supplied between a membrane of the stack and an anode electrode; a cathode electrolyte tank accommodating a cathode electrolyte supplied between the membrane of the stack and a cathode electrode, and connected to the anode electrolyte tank by a first overflow pipe; and a two phase electrolyte tank accommodating two phases of the cathode electrolyte spilled between the membrane and the cathode electrode, and connected to the cathode electrolyte tank by a second overflow pipe, wherein the anode electrolyte tank, the cathode electrolyte tank, and two phase electrolyte tank have a volumetric ratio of 30~40: 30~40: 20~40%.</p> |
