<p>A hinge device and a portable apparatus with the same are provided to allow smooth opening and closing operations by not requiring the process of releasing a fixed state when opening first and second frameworks. A hinge device(1) includes first and second frameworks, an installation member(3), a supporting member(4), an inhaling device(5), a pop-up device(6), and a friction device(7). The installation member rotatably supports a hinge shaft(2), which is installed on any one of the first and the second frameworks. The supporting member rotates about the installation member between the closed position where the first and the second frameworks are overlapped with each other and the open position where the first and the second frameworks are open. The inhaling device forces the supporting member in the closing direction. The pop-up device forces the supporting member in the opening direction. The friction device generates friction force between the hinge shaft and the installation member so as to stop the second framework.</p> |
