<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an uneven distribution into a plurality of cylinders, of EGR gas.SOLUTION: An exhaust gas recirculation device 50 recirculates EGR gas exhausted from an engine 100 having cylinders 11-14 to an exhaust manifold 18, to an intake manifold 16 of the engine 100. The exhaust gas recirculation device 50 includes: EGR pipes 52, 58 communicated through the exhaust manifold 18 with the intake manifold 16; an EGR cooler 54 provided in the EGR pipe 52 for cooling EGR gas; and an EGR valve 56 provided in the EGR pipe 58 for adjusting a flow amount of the EGR gas. The EGR pipe 58 includes a branch passage 60 for distributing the EGR gas cooled by the EGR cooler 54 into each of the cylinders 11-14. A minimum value of a cross section area of a constriction part 90 of the EGR pipe 58 between the EGR cooler 54 and the branch passage 60 is smaller than a minimum value of a cross section area of the branch passage 60.</p> |
