<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an organic EL element which is driven by a low voltage, and has a high light emission efficiency and a long life, and which can be mass-produced with stability at low cost; and an electronic device having such an organic EL element.SOLUTION: An organic EL element comprises: an anode; a light-emitting layer; a hole transport layer provided to be adjacent to the light-emitting layer between the anode and the light-emitting layer; and a hole injection layer provided between the anode and the hole transport layer. The hole transport layer and the hole injection layer are adjacent to each other. The hole transport layer includes a compound expressed by the general formula (1) below. The hole injection layer includes a condensed compound formed by the condensation of two to three structures each expressed by the general formula (2a) below to a first ring structure selected from a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic hydrocarbon group, of which the number of carbon atoms forming a ring is 6-24, and a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group, of which the number of carbon atoms forming a ring 6-24.</p> |
