<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a woven fabric for molding, a fiber molded article obtained by using a woven fabric for molding produced by the method, and a composite article.SOLUTION: The method for producing a woven fabric for molding includes: (a) subjecting a highly-oriented undrawn yarn to a heat treatment while keeping a constant length or (b) subjecting the highly-oriented undrawn yarn to a heat treatment under relaxation; then dyeing the highly-oriented undrawn yarn into a dyed yarn; and then weaving the dyed yarn. When the length of a boiled water treated yarn that is obtained by subjecting a processed yarn after a heat treatment to a boiling water treatment is denoted by L1, and the length of a dry heat treated yarn that is obtained by subjecting the boiled water treated yarn to a dry heat treatment at 180°C is denoted by L2, an expansion rate calculated by [(L2-L1)/L1]×100 (%) is 6% or less. The fiber molded article is formed by molding a woven fabric for molding produced by the method, and the woven fabric for molding that is used is woven only with dyed yarns having a residual elongation of 80% or more. It is preferable that the dyed yarn is a dyed polyethylene terephthalate yarn.</p> |
