<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic shift device that attains rapid gear shift and can relax the collision between a movable gear and a stationary gear in a drawing operation.SOLUTION: When the engagement of a movable gear and a stationary gear is released, after the movable gear starts moving in a detachment direction and before the engagement of the movable gear and the stationary gear is completely released, an automatic shift device applies brake force to the movable gear in the reverse direction of the detachment direction, and thereby the engagement is rapidly released while the collision between the movable gear and the stationary gear is relaxed. When the movable gear is fixed to the stationary gear in such a process, thrust in the detachment direction is applied to the movable gear again.</p> |
