<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retardation film that has an alignment layer and retardation layer (liquid crystal layer) laminated sequentially on a base material, and can reduce the adhesion between the base material and alignment layer to enable easy peeling of the base material.SOLUTION: A retardation film 1 according to the present invention has an alignment layer 12 and a retardation layer 13 including a liquid crystal composition laminated sequentially on a base material 11, where the liquid crystal composition includes a polymerizable liquid crystal compound and polymerization initiator; and a part of the polymerization initiator in the liquid crystal composition infiltrates into the base material 11 through the alignment layer 12 to be present on the boundary between the base material 11 and alignment layer 12.</p> |
