PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam turbine capable of reducing a pressure loss by restraining exfoliation of a flow in an exhaust chamber.SOLUTION: A steam turbine 10 in an embodiment comprises: a moving blade row constituted on a turbine rotor 22 in a circumferential direction; an inner casing 21 through which the turbine rotor 22 penetrates; an outer casing 20 surrounding the inner casing 21; a stationary blade row constituted between a diaphragm outer ring 26 and a diaphragm inner ring 27 inside the inner casing 21 in the circumferential direction; and an annular diffuser 60 provided on a downstream side at a last turbine stage, formed by a steam guide 40 and a bearing cone 50, and exhausting steam to the outside in a radial direction. An enlarged inclination angle &thetas;1 on an inner face 70 of the diaphragm outer ring 26a at the last turbine stage in a turbine rotor axial direction is not less than an enlarged inclination angle &thetas;2 on an inner face 80 at an inlet of the steam guide 40 in the turbine rotor axial direction. |
