<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a resource being a medium and also restrict disposal troubles of the medium.SOLUTION: In a medium creation device, a medium in an unrecorded state comprising a semiconductor memory device in which medium specific information is recorded in advance is inputted, and a plurality of medium creation processing units are sequentially arranged along a conveyance path to carry out a series of medium creation processing that should be applied to the medium, to create a medium in which various kinds of information is recorded. When a conveyance error occurs during conveyance of the medium between the plurality of medium creation processing units, a storage unit stores information which can specify a medium creation processing unit having completed medium creation processing directly before occurrence of the conveyance error, in association with the medium specific information. When determined on the basis of the medium specific information that the medium with the conveyance error has been re-inputted, a control unit refers to the storage unit and executes control for omitting processing in the medium creation processing units that have already normally completed the processing among the plurality of medium creation processing units.</p> |
