<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat cable which facilitates suppression of temperature rises to allow retention of desirable electric characteristics.SOLUTION: In a long flat cable 1, a plurality of wires 2A to 2D are arranged in parallel and extend in one direction, and outer peripheral sides of the individual wires 2A to 2D arranged in parallel are covered together with a wire coating part 3. A thickness t1 in a cable minor-diameter direction on sides of both end edge parts 11a and 11b is smaller than a thickness t2 in a cable minor-diameter direction on a side of an axial center part 12. The wire coating part 3 has partitions 31 between both end edge parts 11a and 11b and the axial center part 12, and wires 2A and 2D on the sides of both end edge parts 11a and 11b are thereby separated from wires 2B and 2C on the side of the axial center part 12 in the cable major-diameter direction. A notch 32 extending in a cable longitudinal direction is formed at a position where the partition 31 on a front surface side of the wire coating part 3 is formed.</p> |
