PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting element, a light emitting device and an electronic apparatus, which have high luminous efficiency and a long life as compared with in the past.SOLUTION: In a light emitting element having an EL layer 103 between a pair of electrodes, the EL layer at least includes: a first layer (hole injection layer) 111 having a hole injection property between an electrode functioning as an anode and a fourth layer (luminous layer) 114 having a luminescent property; a second layer (first hole transport layer)112 having a hole transport property; and a third layer (second hole transport layer) 113 having a hole transport property to form a structure where an absolute value of the highest occupied molecular orbital level (HOMO level) of the second layer becomes larger than an absolute value of the highest occupied molecular orbital level (HOMO level) of the third layer thereby to decrease a travel speed of a hole injected from the side of the electrode functioning as the anode and improve luminous efficiency of the light emitting element.
