<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric fan capable of preventing an infant from being injured even when an operation is started in a state that the infant unexpectedly touches the fan, to solve problems in an electric fan that the infant unexpectedly touches an operation switch and an operation is started, or a motor suddenly starts its rotation after lapse of an on-timer time, and the infant is injured by the fan.SOLUTION: A control portion 7 has a soft start function to start an operation with a predetermined low speed rotation, and operates a fan motor 3 with a rotational frequency set by a user after the lapse of a prescribed time in starting the fan motor 3. As the fan motor 3 is started with a low speed rotation, and the fan 2 is not strongly rotated, the infant can be prevented from being injured, even when the infant carelessly touches an operating portion 6 while unexpectedly touching the fan 2, and the operation is suddenly started.</p> |
