PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detection device capable of suppressing appearance of a sum peak.SOLUTION: A radiation detection device 100 includes: a radiation detection unit 2; a first differential filter unit 10 which converts an output signal S2 to a first pulse signal S10; a second differential filter unit 20 which converts the output signal S2 to a second pulse signal S20; a third differential filter unit 30 which has a larger time constant than the second differential filter unit 20 and converts the output signal S2 to a third pulse signal S30; an event detection unit 40 which outputs an event signal; a pile-up detection unit 50 which outputs a pile-up signal S50 on the basis of a ratio of a peak value of the second pulse signal S20 to a peak value of the third pulse signal S30; and a peak value detection unit 60 which starts detection of a peak value of the first pulse signal S10 on the basis of an event signal S40 and outputs a detection signal S60. The peak value detection unit 60 stops output of the detection signal S60 on the basis of the pile-up signal S50. |
