<p>This rigid endoscope has a simple and low-cost configuration in which the internal structure is not damaged when an insertion portion is bent, even if said insertion portion is very fine. An objective element (43) is provided at the leading end of the insertion portion (20) which extends from the proximal portion (10) of the rigid endoscope (2), and an image-forming element (45) is provided on the proximal portion (10). A cylindrical surface (44b) defines the optical path of the image and links the objective element (43) and the image-forming element (45), and on the inside of said surface (44b), an image optical transmission medium is provided which comprises a gas, a liquid, or a translucent resin.</p> |
