The present invention relates to a device for preventing wrinkles on the cathode active material-non-coated portion of a battery. A top cap press-in device includes: a top-cap insert guide which induces the displacement direction of a battery can and the moving direction of a top cap to insert the top cap into the upper end of the battery can formed in an electrode assembly; at least one pressing jig which presses the side of the battery can in a direction of inserting the top cap; a pressing member which transmits the pressure of the battery can by the pressing jig; a press which vertically reciprocates in the upper part of the battery can and presses the top cap to be inserted into the open upper end of the battery can in downward movement; and a controlling part which controls the operation of the press.
