<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load collapse prevention device which reliably prevents loads from collapsing by sufficiently inflating airbags when empty drums are transported by a truck and stores the airbags compactly so as not to interfere with unloading operation. <P>SOLUTION: The rear ends of four rows of airbags 8 installed on the surface of the ceiling panel 9 of a luggage compartment 2 are fixed to the rear end 9b of the panel. The front ends thereof are held by an airbag holding means 10 installed near the front end 9a of the panel. Air pipes 11 for connecting an air supply/discharge means 17 and the airbags 8 are installed at the rear of the airbag holding means 10. The airbags 8 are externally covered by tubular protective covers 12 from near the portions connected to the air pipes 11 to the rear ends thereof, and fixed to the surface of the ceiling panel 9 together with the protective cover 12 by a pair of airbag fixing means 13, 13 which are installed in parallel to the lateral direction of the luggage compartment 2 and substantially symmetric with respect to the center thereof in the lateral direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
