<p>The present invention relates to an image display apparatus, a server, and a method for operating the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the operating method of server for synchronizing contents comprises the steps of: receiving content identification information on image contents which are being played from a plurality of image display apparatuses; comparing the content identification information with pre-stored content information to acquire playtime information on the contents; setting a synchronization reference time for synchronization of playing of the image contents, based on the playtime information; and sending the set synchronization reference time to a plurality of image display apparatuses.</p> |
