<p>A switch apparatus is adapted to be assembled with a casing of an electronic product such as a mobile phone and includes a control device 2 having a base 2, opposite ends 21, an opening 20, an accommodating space 200 and a link 24 connected at its end to the casing. A resilient element, such as bent metal spring 3, is installed in the control device and is fixed to a fixing 22. When the control device is pressed with a first force its pressing part 23 presses on the resilient element whose free end 33 presses on and pushes a bearing surface (fig 6, 621) of a trigger device such as a switch. When the control device is pressed with a larger force the resilient device deforms at a portion 32 while the end 33 continues to depress bearing surface 621. There can be two trigger devices (fig 6A, 6) each operated by an end 33 of the resilient device and two L-shaped links 24 each fixed to the casing. Arced bearing surfaces of retaining elements (fig 6, 7) fixed to the casing under the ends of the control device can withstand excessive force applied to it.</p> |
