摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for surface processing of an electrophotographic photoreceptor, by which adhesion of a material component of a surface layer to a mold member or degradation in the mold member such as distortion of the mold member can be suppressed and an electrophotographic photoreceptor having fewer initial image defects can be obtained. <P>SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an electrophotographic photoreceptor is provided, including a step of heating the surface of an electrophotographic photoreceptor in an upstream side along a rotation direction of the photoreceptor than a portion where the surface of a mold member is brought into contact with the surface of the photoreceptor. When the glass transition temperature of the surface layer of the electrophotographic photoreceptor is denoted by Tg and the temperature at which the surface layer changes into a liquid state is denoted by T1, the surface temperature T2 of the electrophotographic photoreceptor when the surface starts to be in contact with the mold member is equal to or higher than Tg and lower than T1, while the temperature of the mold member when the mold member starts to be in contact with the surface layer of the photoreceptor is lower than T2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p>
