<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery monitoring device capable of activating a high-speed signal transmission part of insulation signal transmission means without separately providing means for transmitting a signal, with monitoring means insulated from control means, and means for supplying the high-speed signal transmission part with a power in a dark current mode. <P>SOLUTION: The battery monitoring device includes an insulation element 5 that transmits a signal from a microcomputer 4 side to a monitoring circuit 3 side with the monitoring circuit 3 electrically insulated from the microcomputer 4. The insulation element 5 includes a high-speed signal transmission part 52b for enhancing the speed of the signal transmission from a primary-side element 51 provided in the microcomputer 4 side to a secondary-side element 52 provided in the monitoring circuit 3 side. The high-speed signal transmission part 52b is configured to be driven by a power supply from a battery pack 1. The monitoring circuit 3 and the insulator element 5 each includes a power generation part 6 for generating the power for activating the high-speed signal transmission part 52b on the basis of the signal transmitted from the microcomputer 4 to the secondary-side element 52 in the dark current mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
