The present invention relates to an electric actuator and a method for controlling the same. The electric actuator according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an input unit to input a target value of an object to be controlled and to convert the target value to an electric signal; a motor controller to input the electric signal converted by the input unit and to generate a control signal to control a motor; the motor drives according to the control signal inputted by the motor controller and generates power; a power transmitting unit to transmit the power generated by the motor to the object to be controlled; and a load sensor connects to the power transmitting unit to detect a load amount loaded on the power transmitting unit, wherein the motor controller can control the motor based on the electric signal converted by the input unit or the load amount detected by the load sensor. According to the present invention, the load of the power transmitting unit, which transmits the power between a driving unit and the object to be controlled, is detected and used to calculate an output signal of the motor, thereby obtaining a proper response. |
